About Andrew and FerrousLands.com

“There's something about things being miniaturized that gives them
a special kind of charm.” —Wes Anderson

“Models recast imagination into a solid form.” —Trevor Pask

Andrew enjoys reading history books, historical fiction, and fantasy fiction—basically, anything with swords. This feeds his interest in painting little plastic and metal men. You might know these as “toy soldiers,” but he prefers the term, “historical miniatures” (it sounds more sophisticated that way). Occasionally, Andrew will find someone to tabletop game with him, but for the most part he’s just reading and painting.

Andrew works in publishing, he wrote a book about his grandfather's battalion in in WWII (published by Osprey), and he lives in West Nerdfordshire with his wife and 3 daughters.
