I have a ton of 15mm Germans and Brits for the desert campaign but I haven't had them out of their case for ages.

I like the 15mm vehicles but the infantry are poorly detailed compared to 20mm plastics.

What rules are planing to use? I've tried Flames of War a few times but they don't seem well balanced.

Yup, Celts, Romans, and now WWII. I'm pretty much copying your blog! ...albeit in a smaller scale. To start I have my eye on Revell's 1/72 scale America paratroopers and Germans, as well as Italeri's new box of GIs and their re-issue of Esci's British paratroopers.

I imagine I'll also get some 28mm guys to paint for display. I already have two models from Bolt Action. I'll paint those

Good to see you joining the fight in the 40's. What do you think you will start off with?

I have just bought some 28mm Americans from Blacktree Miniatures and I have to say, they are full of character. They are over 10 years old but I still think they're holding their own on the todays market.
